I served 14 years in the British Army with the Royal Engineers as a surveyor and a soldier. I served in Scandinavia, Cyprus and several tours in Europe.

I left the Army soon after the Berlin Wall was reduced to rubble, to seek a more satisfying profession. I became a Middle School teacher after my 4 year degree course, and completed 6 years of teaching in England, rising to Senior Teacher position (comparable to Assistant Principal). In 2002, my family and I decided to emigrate to the USA to start a new period to our lives.

I have been at Walker now for 8 years, and have enjoyed every day of my experience. I am married to Nadine, my wonderful wife, and we have 3 children, Jenny, 26, (living in England), Alex, 24, living in Emerson, Ga, and Steven, 1, a Freshman at Georgia Southern.

I have been the Dean of Students for 4 years now, and I still enjoy each new day as much as my first one. I am so pleased to be able to work every day with such a great group of students and faculty alike.

My favorite food is Indian curry (Jalfreizi) and I love Marmite. I do not care for sweet things such as candy, chocolate and desserts. I love wearing fun ties!
