The Walker School

WALKER'S PREKINDERGARTEN includes students that are age four to five.  There are no more than eighteen children and two teachers in each of our three sections of PK.  Special area classes include Spanish, Physical Education (with an annual field day), Music (two performances each year), Science, Art, Computer, and Library.  Learning is child-centered, developmentally appropriate and multi-sensory.   Character Education is woven into a strong academic curriculum designed to challenge and fit student needs.  Technology, both in the media center and in the classrooms, is used to enhance learning and stimulate the natural curiosity of the young child. Each year holds special events such as our tea party and unique guests.
